Homemade applesauce
When you make this sweet, tasty applesauce at home, there’s no need to add cavity-causing sugar. This healthy, versatile treat is perfect for a snack, dessert or even homemade baby food.
Ingredients:
6 apples, peeled and chopped
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup of water
Directions:
- Chop apples into small pieces.
 - Place all ingredients into pot and stir. Bring mixture to a boil.
 - Cover with lid and reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes.
 - Remove from heat.
 - Mash or blend to desired consistency.
 - Let cool before serving.
